June McAdams June McAdams (1921-2002) painted commissioned portraits, figure and portrait studies, and paintings of family and friends. Drawing and painting in pastel, watercolor, and oil, she recorded street scenes and landscapes in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington as well as documented her travels within the US and abroad. Her work is in many permanent and private collections. Selections can be seen through the month of September at Gallery 222 in Leesburg. |
