Tim Grant

The Loudoun Arts Council has selected Tim Grant as the Featured Artist for March 2003. Grant paints large-scale backdrops and murals commissioned for theatrical productions and special events. In 1993, he founded his own company, Britten-Grant Event Design, which is located in Ashburn and which specializes in scenic backdrops and set designs. Since then, he has completed a wide variety of painting commissions: a painting for the National Air and Space Museum, murals for Wakefield Recreation Center, set designs for the WJLA production "The Savings Game", and event backdrops for the Wolftrap Center for the Performing Arts.
