Liddy Glass

A painter and potter, Liddy was raised in a military family and studied art through a variety of life experiences. She dabbled in commercial art before settling on a career in fine arts and creative ceramic designs.

Liddy is widely known for her sense of humor and highly creative style. Her works in oil, pastel and watercolors are inspired by ocean life. She also expresses herself through many whimsical pen and ink drawings. In addition to these talents, she has a rare gift for teaching and inspiring children of all ages.

Since moving to Loudoun County four years ago, Liddy has become more focused on ceramics. Her pieces are unique and original and reflect her vivid imagination. Currently Liddy and her husband, Steven, own and operate the "Clay Dog Studio" in Leesburg. She also teaches privately in her studio and at the Loudoun Academy of the Arts in Leesburg.
