  • LOUDOUN MUSEUM SEEKS VOLUNTEERS FOR HAUNTINGS 2010
  • The Loudoun Museum is seeking a number of dedicated volunteers to make this year's 19th annual Hauntings event a success. Each year, costumed guides lead visitors through downtown Leesburg's historic, and reportedly haunted, sites.
  • The museum needs volunteers in all areas of the event. Examples of volunteer opportunities include tour guides, site interpreters/storytellers and museum visitor services help. All talents are welcome!
  • This year's walking tours will be on Friday, October 22 and Saturday, October 23 from 6pm-10pm.

  • Loudoun Ballet Company is seeking a Company Photographer for the 2010-2011 season. Photographer responsibilities will include photographing company dancers on stage and still publicity shots.   • Young at Art - 24th Annual Juried Art Show for Artists 55+
  • Eligibility: Open to all metropolitan area residents, age 55 and older. Artists must deliver, pick up art, and leave art in the exhibit until the end of the show.

  • Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month starting July 18th, young writers ages 13 -19 are welcome to bring your poems, your short stories, your novel excerpts.   • We are seeking some artists to display and sell their art at an upcoming pretty high profile event in Lorton. We expect at least 1-2000 participants at this indoor and outdoor event. Pro stages with live music (Hokum Jazz and Sonrise along with local talent). Food sales, kids fun, carriage and pony rides, docent tours and a special proclamation from Fairfax Chairwoman Sharon Bulova. We have bakeries, authors, photographers etc....setting up to sell their talent, but we need some art badly. Would you like to participate to show off and/or sell.   • Embracing Our Differences
  • 8th Annual Embracing Our Differences outdoor art exhibit celebrating diversity is now accepting submissions from artists, photographers, professionals, amateurs and students. National and international submissions are encouraged. 45 artists will be selected for the exhibit. The exhibit will be displayed during April and May 2011 along Sarasota's bayfront. Since 2004, more than 850,000 visitors have viewed the exhibit. A total of $3,000.00 in awards will be presented.

  • Silver Glass Productions has announced a call for female performing artists to participate in the first annual New Seeds Festival that will take place Mar 18, 19, 25 and 26, 2011. The festival is seeking original, socially relevant work. The emphasis is on performance across all disciplines.

  • Artists in Morocco - Artists and Photographers in Morocco with Cultural Study Abroad
