At Leesburg's First Friday on September 3,
Supporting the Loudoun Symphony Never Tasted So Good
The Loudoun Symphony is doing a new type of fundraiser with YipDeals, a community-based online company based in Purcellvile that organizes fundraising partnerships with local non-profits and businesses. From Friday September 3 through Sunday September 5, people can purchase a $40 gift certificate for $20 online for The Wine Kitchen from YipDeals. 15% of the proceeds goes to support the LSO.
This is a unique opportunity to support The Loudoun Symphony. You can savor the flavors of Northern Virginia by purchasing a $20 voucher at www.YipDeals.com. This $20 voucher will entitle you to $40 worth of food at The Wine Kitchen, and $3 of each purchase goes to the Loudoun Symphony. The vouchers will be available on FRIDAY MORNING through Sunday at www.YipDeals.com. You can use the voucher any time over the next six months.
The Wine Kitchen is in historic downtown Leesburg on 7 South King Street, and will be open until 10 for First Friday.

The Loudoun Arts Council is a Grand Sponsor of the Fifth annual Western Loudoun Artists Studio Tour, taking place in the studios of over 50 talented artists, June 19 and 20.
Loudoun Arts Council Sends Three Representatives to the Artworks For Virginia Conference in Richmond, Virginia
January 26 - 28, president Rebecca Kite, past president Heather Valdez Stillings and administrator Lee McKinster will be attending the 2010 Annual ArtWorks for Virginia conference and Arts Advocacy Day at the State Capitol on behalf of the Loudoun Arts Council.
Sponsored by the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the Virginians for the Arts Foundation, this year's agenda includes Keynote Speaker, composer Jennifer Hidgon. LAC representatives will attend several concurrent sessions covering topics such as and including "The ABCs of Building an Arts and Cultural District, "Arts Advocacy" and "Rural Arts Roundtable."
On LAC's participation, Rebecca Kite stated, "I am excited that the LAC will have such a strong presence."
