We Doubled the Money for ArtShare!
In response to the current economic situation and the significant loss of funding for arts organizations the LAC has made some changes. We are now a "distributed" organization, which means we have cut our operating expenses to almost zero. We can now focus entirely on working for the arts non-profits in Loudoun County.
For the first time in the history of our organization, we have engaged in fund-raising to increase the amount of money that will be disbursed through our ArtShare program. Our Dance Party for the Arts was successful and we have added $4,000 to the annual gift that supports this program, bringing the total amount available for this year to $8,000.
ArtShare is available only to non-profit arts organizations in Loudoun County - you must have 501-c-3 designation from the IRS. The LAC does not have any grants for individuals or for-profit art businesses.
You will need these three forms to apply:- LAC ArtShare Application Word | PDF
- LAC ArtShare General Policies 2011 Word | PDF
- ArtShare Financial Summary Form Word | PDF
Deadline for pre-review of your grant: October 28, 2011
Final Deadline: November 18, 2011

The next Arts Round Up is set for Saturday, May 21 10am - 12pm at the Cascades Library, 21030 Whitfield Place, Potomac Falls, VA 20165. If you'd like to join us, please RSVP to info@loudounarts.org by May 19.
