TWO LOCAL BUSINESSES JOIN LOUDOUN ARTS COUNCIL'S ARTS IN OFFICES PROGRAM
LEESBURG, Va. - The Loudoun Arts Council recently welcomed the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce and Creations by April, a design showroom in Sterling, into its Arts in Offices program. The program partners local artists with area businesses, giving artists the opportunity to show and sell their work in locations where it can be viewed in conference rooms, waiting rooms and other public areas.
Program coordinator Kathy Kupka said the program is a success because it brings the arts community together with art consumers and appreciators. "Arts in Offices gives artists the ongoing opportunity to get their work out to new audiences throughout the year; it also gives businesses a rotating schedule of artwork for their clients to enjoy."
Seven venues and 14 artists now participate in the Arts in Offices program. The 2006 Jan. through March schedule follows:
