Loudoun Arts Council Sends Three Representatives to the Artworks For Virginia Conference in Richmond, Virginia

LEESBURG, Va. - January 26 - 28, president Rebecca Kite, past president Heather Valdez Stillings and administrator Lee McKinster will be attending the 2010 Annual ArtWorks for Virginia conference and Arts Advocacy Day at the State Capitol on behalf of the Loudoun Arts Council.

Sponsored by the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the Virginians for the Arts Foundation, this year's agenda includes Keynote Speaker, composer Jennifer Hidgon. LAC representatives will attend several concurrent sessions covering topics such as and including "The ABCs of Building an Arts and Cultural District, "Arts Advocacy" and "Rural Arts Roundtable."

On LAC's participation, Rebecca Kite stated, "I am excited that the LAC will have such a strong presence."
