Due to a sudden family emergency, we had to abruptly cancel our March presentation with Suzanne Lago Arthur, and we hope to reschedule her talk for a future installment. We apologize, and we have a new event planned. All are invited to bring a sample of their work and join us at Sterling Library at 2:30 pm on June 24th for the first get-together in our planned series: Loudoun Arts Presents: Show & Tell with Christa Stern.

About our speaker:

Artist Christa SternArtist Christa Stern

Christa Stern is a self-taught artist who works across many media. She loves to play with bright colors and textures, hoping to bring a smile and sense of peace to those who view her art. She is known for her colorful mobiles, digital art, photography, 3D digital prints, abstracts, mixed-media, sculpture, and jewelry.  Christa’s studio, the Utter Chaos Design Studio, is one of eleven independent studios and shops known as The Artists Lofts, located at Hill High Marketplace in Round Hill, VA. Christa is also  a member of the Gateway Gallery in Round Hill where she displays her work. She is a founding member of Makersmiths, Inc., a local non-profit maker space with two locations in Loudoun County - Leesburg and Purcellville.

We invite all local artists to being an example of their work. We'll have limited display space, so please only bring one piece. After a brief meet-and-greet, Christa will give a 30-minute presentation about her work, and then we'll have a question and answer session. We hope to see you there! We'd also love to hear your ideas for the future of the arts in Loudoun. Refreshments, too! We can't wait to see you! Questions? Send us an email.
