Help fund this grant program for community arts groupsHelp fund this grant program for community arts groups Twenty years ago this month, the Loudoun Arts Council launched a local grants program, called artShare, to help support Loudoun's home-grown arts organizations. Since that time the local grants fund has financed terrific community partners like VSA of Loudoun County, the Loudoun Symphony, Loudoun Ballet, and many others.

Local nonprofits operate on very tight budgets, but these groups provide arts education, art therapy, and the joys of performance yearly to thousands of Loudoun residents. Standards for LAC funding are high — the artShare review committee evaluates organizations on the basis of artisitic quality and sound management.

Originally set up as an endowment, the source of funding for this program has steadily declined in recent years.* Now a local friend of the arts council has stepped up to offer a matching grant of $1,000. For every dollar donated, this generous friend will donate another dollar, up to $1,000 in total. The LAC needs your help to keep this program strong.

Make a tax-deductible donation today and help the Loudoun Arts Council and the "Creating Community" in Loudoun.
